PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Managing projects is an art - but it is not abstract! It is methodical and highly disciplined. Systematic, result-oriented, proven, universal methods, objectives and principles are at the heart of this subject.

Generally, when we consider all our intentions, ideas, plans, and actions – anytime and anywhere – we would observe that there are two broad perspectives under which these fundamentally belong to. They are - (i) Run-The-Show, and (ii) Manage Change.

Repeated actions with goals of achieving the same outcome repeatedly - may be considered as 'Run-the-Show'. The more accurate and similar the results are - better is the level of reliability and perceived quality. On the other hand, the actions which systematically manage the progress from an idea to its realization – involves continuous change, and Project Management is a subject which deals with such changes in a systematic and planned manner. For example, building an aircraft, building a bridge, arranging a wedding party, setting up an operations theatre, etc.

Application of statistics in various streams helps in converting data into meaningful information – very often facilitating decision making and problem solving. Basic and focused use of statistics in our daily work and studies is earning recognition and importance. Our endeavor is to provide domain specific education and opportunities for service.

Mathematics has a utility in practically all fields – whether Science or Commerce or Arts – and for that matter to the extent of Spiritual Studies. Our focus includes enrichment of students at the school levels, strengthening the aptitude at college levels and facilitating decision making and problem solving in the workplace for managers and professionals. Truly the journey can go beyond and enable the interested individuals to engage in research studies. Focused use of mathematics in our daily work and studies is earning recognition and significant importance – and more so, in this age of Information Technology. Our endeavor is to provide suitable education through domain specific education and channelize opportunities for work and service too.

SCIENCE

The diversity and range of studies under the heading ‘Science’ is vast and much can be offered to serve our students, teachers, and practitioners. To ensure focus and a balanced progress in our endeavor, we have restricted our scope of coverage to a couple of core objectives in our first phase. Our first focus is to enrich students at the school levels across all streams of science with the specific objective of ensuring fair opportunity to learn and build strong grasp of the subject matter. Our second focus is on college-level education, wherein our aim is to provide complimentary support and facilitate improvement in the quality of students.

TECHNOLOGY

The essential base of today’s universe is Information Technology and is an integral component for practically all fields – whether Science or Commerce or Arts – and for that matter, also for Spiritual and Human Studies. Our focus includes enrichment of students at the school levels, strengthening the aptitude at college levels and facilitating decision making and problem solving in the workplace for managers and professionals. Truly the journey can go beyond and enable the interested individuals to engage in research studies. FOCUS

“The difference between an ordinary and an extra-ordinary person is in the degree of concentration” – said Swami Vivekananda. Similar emphasis has been given by all motivational leaders and coaches. At all levels – right from early school levels to the senior professionals and higher status beyond, this has been proven to be a single-most important factor for success, quality, satisfaction, and happiness.

PURPOSE

Happiness is closely related to the factor of Purpose and Meaning in life. Skills, expertise, and experience helps a person to achieve Success and Wealth. However, Success and Wealth alone may not provide Happiness unless there is a stronger anchor on which Life is based. While general purposes may be described and evaluated for academic interest, what poses a challenge is the derivation of an appropriate purpose when it comes to specific individual cases.

STRENGTH

“The greatest sin of human beings is to feel weak” – said Swami Vivekananda. If he advised one mantra for human beings – whoever they are and at whichever time and age – that mantra is the belief in oneself to be Strong and of Courage. “Humans are inherently strong and pure, but due to a mistake they stop believing in this Truth. Our duty is to help every individual realize this fact and watch them manifest their true divinity” he told.

COURAGE

Fearlessness is the characteristic which Swami Vivekananda explained as the inherent nature of human beings – and demanded from the whole of mankind that this eternal Truth be understood, realized, and believed in. It is a sin to be afraid, he told us, and advised every individual to be Bold and have Courage. Not being able to do so is simply because of ignorance and hence, lifting the veil of ignorance would naturally manifest courage and boldness.

SELF TAUGHT: From our Library of Case Studies, Practice Sessions, and Quiz – select as many as you wish and keep on practicing on your own. Model Answers and Solutions are provided to help improve through self-evaluation.


PERSONAL COACHING: Our Coaches and Trainers are always ready to help Participants and Members in their Practice assignments – through personal guidance, feedback, resolving difficulties, and providing improvement tips.


GROUP EXERCISES: Teams or Study Groups are facilitated to help our Members and Participants practice in a collaborative environment – both Online as well as Onsite - which uses methods such as Question and Answer, Maker and Checker, Teacher and Student, Assessment, Mock Jobs, and similar methods.

The Practice Modules are planned in a manner that helps our Members and Participants to easily determine the level of expertise one is beginning at – and when they continue the process of ‘Practice and Practice’ as suggested in our programs - they can keep track of their progress.

Practice is Fun!

For example, someone who begins at the Basic Level while Learning a subject – say Data Processing, which is followed by an opportunity to Evaluate if the Basic Practice Level has been achieved – that is, either by conducting brief Training sessions on Data Entry and Report Preparation as Trainer or by completing a work assignment on the KYC Data Processing and Preparing Reports. Evaluation scores will determine the grades and will help the participant to repeat the practical sessions till they reach a good level of expertise.

In fact, what we offer for these sample assignments - is free evaluation of each practical work submitted with us and we will send our feedback and suggestions.
